Born in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro. Mayara is a cis woman, that answers by she / her. She identifies as demisexual and demiromantic.

Has a Master Degree in Comunication by Uerj, where she is enrolled in a PhD program, in the same field.

 

Has published Caleidoscópio, with Editora Illuminare, and selfpublished the following short stories: Crystalline, The Keeper of Magic and Favorite. Was featured in the following anthologies: Contos de Fada, Anjos e Demônios, both with Illuminare; Valquírias, with Darda Editora; and Momentum and Keep Faith, both organized and edited by Gabriela Martins.

 

Acts as editor-in-chief for Revista Avessa, a Brazilian literary magazine, since 2014 and is part of the regular cast for Andarilhos do Imaginário, a Brazilian podcast about writing.
